So the new Thundercats cartoon aired on Cartoon Network, and seems to be off now. The new toys are pretty cool though, and have been in the bargain bins at Wal-Mart and Target. Perfect time to get some new figures! They’re made by Bandai, and look pretty cool!

This is the Marvel Universe Mr. Sinister vs. Gambit Comic Pack. Mr. Sinister is a really strange repaint of the Colossus figure (which was EXCELLENT), and Gambit is just a standard figure…with a scarf. The strangest thing about this pack isn’t the figures, though, it’s the included comic. The cover is from X-MEN #1, but the inside is not! I don’t even know which issue is on the inside, but it doesn’t match the cover at all.

This is a cool Frost Giant action figure we picked up. It’s from the Thor movie, so it’s not styled quite the same as the comic based figures, but is still pretty cool. Nice sculpt, and the joints are the same as the Marvel Universe line of figures!

Ok, I think we might have a little of a backlog now with the figures…we need to get on that!

This is the awesome Marvel Universe Iron Patriot action figure. We really like the paint job on this one. It’s really shiny and metallic looking, so you get the feeling that they material really is metal. The only down side to this figure is that it is a repaint of the Extremis Iron Man action figure, so the shoulder pads, feet, hands, etc, are all the same mold. Regardless, we think the paint job more than makes up for using the same base. Behold, the IRON PATRIOT!

Looking at the API right now. Going to make web comics on tumblr happen, and going to make it EASY.
Going to start working in the comic viewing stuff pretty soon. Will have to see how well the tumblr API works!
The continuation of the Daredevil vs. Bullseye battle!!! These are action figures from the Marvel Universe Daredevil / Bullseye Comic Pack. I might have had a little too much fun playing with these guys. The articulation is pretty awesome.

These two came in a Marvel Universe Comic Pack. Articulation on them is pretty impressive since they both sport the newer ankle joints that can swivel left and right as well as back and forth. This REALLY improves on the types of poses you can achieve. Making them crouch is super easy. Makes for some really dynamic scenes :) So, without further ado, Daredevil vs. Bullseye!

This a pretty cool Marvel Universe Magneto figure that we picked up. Articulation is decent, and the paint job is pretty good. He has some strange shading on his face, but other than that he’s pretty neat. You’ll also notice that he has no pupils. Not sure why, but at least it makes him look menacing! He also comes with a display stand. I really wish all of the figures from the Marvel Universe line had display stands, since I have a lot of issues with my figures tipping over on the desk :)

This is one of the favorites of the action figure collection. The Maxx is a really interesting character created by Sam Keith in the early ’90s. The comics had unique artwork, and some of the best coloring at the time (using computers! wow!). This figure was given by an awesome friend at work, and he still can’t be thanked enough for that! The Maxx sits on the desk surrounded by other favorites like Mirai Suenaga, just waiting for a chance to run around and do battle. So, without further ado, tons of pictures of The Maxx action figure…vs Wolverine :)

So we picked up the new TPB A vs. X : It’s Coming, and we thought we would share some photos of it. Typical super glossy pages, and comes in at 176 pages. We got it for $20.00 which isn’t too bad (although it is a lot cheaper on amazon). This is basically a compilation of comics leading up to the events in A vs. X, so if you’ve read the House of M stuff, you’ll probably be a little familiar with what’s going on.
